How we look after your information
What we collect through this website, why, and the choices you have.
Who we are
Initiative on Workplace Wellness (iWoWe) is a workplace health promotion and wellness organisation. Our secretariat is at the College of Nursing Sciences, OAUTHC, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. For anything about your personal data, email info@iwowe.org.ng.
What we collect
Only what you give us in our forms:
- your name, email address and, if you choose, phone number;
- your organisation, job title, number of employees and sector;
- the programmes, events or updates you’re interested in, and any message you write.
Please don’t include medical or health details in website forms. We’ll discuss anything clinical with you directly.
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, also processes your IP address and approximate country to keep the site secure and stop spam. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and plan programmes, events or partnerships you ask about.
- To send updates you’ve signed up for (events and resources). We do this with your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time.
- To keep the website secure and free of spam.
Who can see it
Only the iWoWe team members who need it to respond to you. We don’t sell your data or share it for marketing. Your submissions are stored with Cloudflare, our website provider, whose servers may be outside Nigeria; we rely on its security and data protection safeguards.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact with you. Update sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe. After that, we delete them.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask us to:
- show you the personal data we hold about you;
- correct it, or delete it;
- stop or limit how we use it, or give you a copy to take elsewhere;
- stop sending you updates.
Email info@iwowe.org.ng and we’ll respond as soon as we can. If you’re not satisfied, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).
Changes to this notice
We’ll update this page if the way we use personal data changes. Last updated: October 2026.
