We help workplaces become places where people thrive
Initiative on Workplace Wellness (iWoWe) supports employee health and wellbeing and helps organisations create healthier working environments.

The workplace is a place to build health
The way people work can influence their physical, mental and social wellbeing. Workplaces offer an opportunity to build health knowledge, encourage active living and support healthier daily routines.
We work with organisations to develop the knowledge, skills and practices that support a healthier workplace culture. Our programmes draw on evidence and are designed to fit the people and settings they serve.
“We exist to promote healthier workplaces where employees are empowered to make healthier choices, organisations are encouraged to support employee wellbeing, and workplace environments contribute positively to health and productivity.”
To promote intentional active living, healthy workplaces, disease prevention and sustained wellness among workers and communities through health education, advocacy, research, capacity building and evidence-based wellness interventions that enhance productivity and quality of life.
Healthy workplaces where people can work, thrive and achieve their potential in environments that promote wellbeing, active living and sustainable productivity.
To promote workplace health and wellbeing through evidence-informed education, advocacy, research, health promotion, active living, ergonomic practices, disease prevention and sustainable wellness interventions.

Education
Build the knowledge people need to make healthier choices.
Participation
Design with employees, not just for them.
Inclusion
Every role, age, ability and background is part of the plan.
Evidence
Programmes grounded in research and measured for impact.
Sustainability
Build habits and workplace practices that can be maintained over time.

Many disciplines, one practical approach
iWoWe brings together the disciplines that shape health at work, and turns them into practical interventions that fit into everyday workplace activities.
From i to We
Each figure in our mark is an i: one person, one team, one organisation. Standing together, their heads trace a W — for Workplace and Wellness — and the i’s become we.
Healthy Workplaces stands tallest at the centre, with Healthy People and Productive Organizations rising on either side.
